Osteopathy Treatment
In order to provide you with an accurate diagnosis, we often require detailed information about your ailment and aspects of your lifestyle, so we can treat your body as a ‘whole’.
Treatment may involve techniques to bones and muscles, but also fascia and connective tissue, ligaments and membranes all of which affect the circulatory, digestive and nervous systems. We love to address the cause of the problem and not just treat the symptoms.
In an effort to stop problems returning, you may be given advice on exercises, posture, diet/nutrition and your work station setup. The more involved you can be in your recovery and healing, the more likely you will maintain your new, more comfortable body.
The most common complaints for which patients consult Osteopaths include back and neck pain, sciatica, headaches, pains in peripheral joints such as shoulders, knees and ankles, tendinitis and muscle strains, work-related and repetitive strain injuries, and sports-related injuries. Other conditions for which Osteopathy can play a significant role in reducing the severity of symptoms include asthma, gynaecological dysfunction and pregnancy related postural pain, arthritic conditions and chronic fatigue.
With years of experience, the clinics Osteopath's, Physiotherapist, Acupuncturist and Remedial massage therapist and Exercise Physiology, will assess you and create a treatment/Rehab plan that's right for you. We understand the importance of educating you on the most effective ways to take care of your body, so that you can heal quickly.
Not only will your therapist (Osteopath, Physiotherapy, Remedial Massage) treat your existing conditions, we can also work with you to maintain a good healthy lifestyle. We strive to help you improve your quality of life, achieve your wellness goals, and heal your body to live your best life possible. The clinic's resident Exercise Physiologist can help set up exercise programmes to help improve your overall strength, health and fitness.
